Victoria is the place to be this summer and it’s all happening over the course of 88 days between June and September. Check out one of 26 festivals and celebrations, all which include free programming. Grab a picnic and choose from over 130 free concerts or pick from a series of free community arts programs, all while enjoying Victoria’s beautiful downtown and neighbourhoods.
New this year, CityVibe also includes information about Summer Nights at Royal Athletic Park, Pop-Up Family Dances hosted by Artist in Residence Kemi Craig, tips on when to pick up free seedlings for your garden or patio, information about the Downtown Victoria Bike Valet and how to quickly find parkade spots.
All festivals and events showcased in the guide are recipients of the City of Victoria’s Festival Investment Grants. Over the past 25 years, the City of Victoria has awarded more than $4.4 million to local non-profit arts and culture organizations to nurture the development and sustainability of high-quality annual festivals and celebrations.
Wishing you a fun-filled summer!
CityVibe is an online, interactive guide. The guide allows you to search for events, music and other cultural activities from your computer or phone, by date or month. “CityVibe Pocket Guides” with key dates can be picked up at City Hall.
Please note: While we can bring you a sizzling line-up of events, we can’t control the weather. Events at the Cameron Bandshell happen rain or shine. Guests will be invited to stay dry on the covered stage.
