The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites all to a unique opportunity to celebrate our Savior this Christmas season. This December 5 – 8, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is hosting “Festival of the Nativity,“ a community event to celebrate the birth and life of Jesus Christ.
The four-day self guided event will feature magnificently crafted nativity sets from around the world, including pieces from Russia, Japan, Italy, Cambodia, Peru, Mexico and many more.
The free event will be held at the Dickson area church building, located at 100 Brown Drive in Burns from 4 – 8 p.m. on December 5 and 6, 12 noon – 8 p.m. on Dec. 7, and 12 noon – 6 p.m. on Dec. 8.
In addition to the Nativity displays, there will also be gallery rooms displaying artwork depicting the Savior’s life and earthly ministry, as well musical performances by groups from throughout the community, crafts and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
